Ushahidi is an example of a Crowd-sourcing Internet Platform in which anyone can report on their current situation in the world. It encourages people to upload information about their live news, specifically related to natural disasters, war and political violence.
This blog is designed to be hub for students of the 'Introduction to New Media' module at University of Worcester. This will be updated with info, tips, links and discussions related to MECS1008. Students are encouraged to comment on blog posts and keep your own blog which will be your Online Learning Journal for this module. All presentation slides and documents are available from Blackboard.
